Brass Bars
We have round, hexagonal, square and flat brass bars, all drawn up to section 60 mm – extruded if bigger. These products are aimed at machine-tools manufacturing through shavings removal. Brass bars are 3 meters long and have rounded edges.
Only upon request and with a minimum quantity to be defined, it is possible to provide extruded brass bars for hot forging or brass bars without lead, for products that would be in contact with drinkable water or for the fashion industry. There are other fields of application, for example the automotive and electrical industry, the plumbing sector and the production of small mechanical parts.

Brass Sheets, Plates and Ribbons
These products are used in different dimensions and tempers, in many fields of application, such as the hydraulic industry, the novelty production or the production of small metallic parts, the artistic field and the furniture industry. Standard brass sheets are 1000 x 2000 mm, but we can also provide different sizes by cutting ribbons with a variable length - up to 4 meters.
It is possible to request brass sheets aimed at clockmaking, also with detension treatment. This treatment reduces or even avoids the bending phenomenon of the material after processing. These brass semi-finished products are ideal for engravings, molds and clichés. With minimum quantities and upon request, it is possible to order polished brass sheets with PVC protection. If brass sheets have a thickness of more than 6 mm, it is possible to cut plates from them.

Brass Tubes
Brass tubes are obtained by a wire drawing process and we have a very wide range of dimensions.
In our warehouse we always have: round, square and rectangular brass tubes. They can be used in many fields of application, such as the furniture industry or for realizing bathroom accessories like water fittings, radiators, valves and other things. Brass tubes usually are from 4 to 5 meters long, but upon request it is possible to produce longer or shorter tubes. With a minimum quantity to be defined, we can provide: annealed brass tubes (rolled up in pipes), brass tubes for cylinders, oval brass tubes and ellipsoidal brass tubes. Upon request, it is possible to provide half-hard brass tubes or brass tubes with normalization treatment.

Brass Hollow Bars
Musola Metalli can provide brass hollow bars which are previously obtained from the drilling of full round bars – both drawn and extruded. This product is mainly aimed at machine-tools manufacturing.
Brass hollow bars are 3 meters long and there is also the possibility to order hexagonal or square brass hollow bars.

We have a wide range of brass profile in our warehouse, suitable for many different fields of application. We have: angular profiles, U profiles, L profiles and T profiles. We can also provide brass wires, and upon request we can order semi-round or half-round brass bars.

About Brass
Brass is a binary alloy, made of copper and zinc. Thanks to its many properties, brass can be used in different fields. Among copper-based alloys, brass is probably the most common. Brass alloys have a good corrosion resistance and are definitely the most resistant from a mechanical point of view. Brass has many fields of application, such as the electrical field, the marine/naval field, the mechanical industry, the chemical industry and the furniture industry. Compared to copper, brass has higher hardness, resilience and fusion values. It has important acoustic properties, which is why it is commonly used in the production of musical instruments – the so-called “brass instruments” (trumpet, horn, trombone, tuba, etc.) but also saxophones and percussions. Another characteristic is the extraordinary antibacterial property.
Talking about sustainability, brass is totally reusable without losing its original properties. This allows to use scrap materials, reducing production costs and waste.
